Women are the fastest growing population of a justice system that was never properly researched or designed to address their unique strengths, risks, needs and pathways. WJI wants to change that. So they asked us to create and direct a report on this subject in the form of a publication, (as well as a microsite and video). This special report is from the historic Statewide Women's Justice Task Force and seeks to confront the false narratives that surround women in prison — past and present. Learn more about the WJI here: https://redefine.womensjusticeinstitute.org

Open magazine spread detailing prison survival costs with a pie chart showing 42% of incarcerated women have jobs and 58% do not. Right page features a woman in split prison and civilian clothing, highlighting cost comparisons for basic needs inside and outside prison.
