William Fleming
William Fleming, a very precise designer, could work in pastels all day long, roll down his sleeves and walk away from his studio at 520 North Michigan without even washing his hands. He has now walked away from that studio, which he shared with George McVicker, and moved to Naples, Florida where he freelances, golfs, remembers the problems John Averill had getting us to meet deadlines, and watches the wood storks nest in Corkscrew Swamp. 27 Chicago Designer member: 1945-1947.
