Rhodes Patterson
Rhodes Patterson graduated from Louisiana Tech. He studied painting in New Orleans and then graduate work at the Art Institute of Chicago. After serving in the AAF in World War II he worked as designer and/or photographer and/or writer and/or filmmaker for several studios, design offices, an advertising agency, and a printing firm before joining Container Corporation of America. His relationship with CCA still prevails. Rhodes Patterson has won professional honors in design, photography and writing. He is a frequent judge in design and photographic exhibitions, as well as a frequent contributor to Communication Arts Magazine. 27 Chicago Designer member: 1967-1979, Honorary Member 1991.
