A multilingual, Creative Executive with international experience, Alessandro has defined his career by helping build successful brands through clear and focused vision, strategic design planning, strong team management skills and in-depth industry knowledge and trend foresight.

Presently, he is a Design and Product Specialist with Luminaire, arguably the preeminent retail resource in the U.S. for high-end modern design furniture, lighting and accessories.

Additionally, he is a Consulting Partner with Surface LLC, a multi-talented design collaborative. Most recently, Surface developed a product collection for The Museum of Modern Art Design Store in New York, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the De Stijl art movement.

Previously, Alessandro was Director of Brand Communications for Natuzzi in Italy, the country’s largest furniture designer, manufacturer and retailer.

As Vice President of Creative at Crate&Barrel, Alessandro launched the in-house Creative group and for 25 years was responsible for all the creative development and brand/marketing direction.

Prior to joining Crate&Barrel, Alessandro’s design experience includes additional senior positions in Italy and New York City, where he headed his own firm.
